Concrete is one of the most important building materials in the modern world. Asamer owns over 40 concrete factories in Europe and Saudi Arabia which use the most up-to-date technology to produce concrete of the highest standards.
Our concrete plants are located centrally in order to minimize transportation distances. Asamer has developed mobile concrete plants which can be used on site for motorway, tunnel, and other large construction sites.
Concrete is a synthetic stone-like material made from cement, aggregate, water. Chemical admixtures can also be used to improve the concrete’s characteristics. Frost resistance, consistency, abrasion resistance, surface quality and colour are some of the characteristics that can be varied. Concrete is produce in stationary or mobile concrete plants.
Large range:
Asamer produces a large range of different types of concrete. It doesn’t matter if it has to be light-weight, or must have a glass-like surface, Asamer can produce almost any type of concrete to its customer’s specifications in almost unlimited quantities. With the help of computer controlled apparatus, the concrete can be mixed to an exact recipe and delivered punctually. Asamer’s specialists are constantly working on the development and standardisation of concrete varieties. The results are stored along with physical examples in an archive which is then available to all Asamer’s research laboratories.
The concrete is transported to its final destination by lorry. There it can be pumped via a 63 meter long pump to exactly where it is needed.
PRECAST CONCRETE PARTS
Precast concrete parts represent one of the special segments of the production of reinforced concrete. Gmundener Fertigteile is a joint business of Asamer and Stern & Hafferl Construction Group.
One of the most important products is Bodan, sold worldwide – patented precast components for railway crossing made of polymer-concrete.
